Tired of School
Well schools almost over, but that doesn't mean time to party. It's more of a time period to show what you got and to turn in any assignments and pass every test that comes your way. This is also the time period that every student is stressed like me lol.

How people can judge you!
Have you ever been criticized or threatened because of your race or nationality?
I read two essays from two authors that have been through a lot, Maya Angelou and Amy Tan. Both had obstacles to surpass and I'm glad both did. I feel that their essays were based on chain of events that went on through their life time. After reading the essays I have to say that anybody that is considered a minority in this country is able to accomplish many dreams. Tan can relate to many of us knowing that 70% of South Florida was not born in the states. Tan, being Chinese made it hard for her and even only speaking Chinese in her house hold made it even more difficult. Tan still had the dream of pursuing her dream as a writer no matter how many people criticized her. Angelou in the other hand had other problems, her race. Just because she wasn't white, people criticized her and didn't see her much of anything. I'm Glad she Has books and has had shows on the air. I'm Sure what these two authors are implying is that no matter where you come from or what your race is there should be nothing that makes you back down because no matter what you want to be in life there should not be anyone to stop you from being successful in life. I have to say me looking white has got me into close fights, even tho I'm Hispanic. People Have given me the name of "cracker" before, but that sure doesn't stop me from doing anything. Have you ever came close to a despute or in to a dangerous situation because your race was not wanted there or someone just didn't like you because of where you were born?
